Terms of Service

Last updated: 20th May 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of 00Connect (the "Service"), a platform operated by 00NATION LIMITED, a company registered at 37 Panton Street, London, England, SW1Y 4EA under company number 11859240 ("we", "us", "our", or the "Operator").

By creating an account, connecting an Instagram account, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Links to these Terms and the Privacy Policy are displayed on the login and registration screens.

00Connect is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Meta Platforms, Inc., Instagram, or Facebook. Instagram is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.

1. Agreement and Acceptance

These Terms form a binding contract between you and the Operator. You accept them by any of the following actions, whichever occurs first: (a) clicking to register an account; (b) connecting an Instagram account to the Service; or (c) accessing or using any part of the Service, including viewing dashboards, triggering a data sync, or administering campaigns.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation (for example, an agency, brand, or employer), you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms, and "you" refers to both you individually and that organisation.

We may publish supplemental terms or policies for specific features (for example, an Acceptable Use Policy or admin-specific rules). Where supplemental terms apply, they form part of these Terms. If there is a conflict, the supplemental terms prevail for the feature they cover.

2. Definitions

  • "Service" means the 00Connect web application (primarily hosted at https://zerozeroconnect.com ), including the analytics dashboard, settings interface, campaign tools, public profile pages, public campaign pages, scheduled and manual sync features, and associated APIs.
  • "User" means any natural person who creates an account on the Service.
  • "Account" means the credentials, profile, settings, and stored data associated with a registered User.
  • "Content" means any text, images, video, captions, metadata, or other material made available through the Service, including material originating from a User's connected Instagram account.
  • "Instagram Data" means information retrieved from a User's connected Instagram account through Meta's official APIs, including profile information, published media (posts, reels, carousels), stories, business insights, reach, engagement, audience demographics, and per-post metrics.
  • "Public Profile" means a publicly accessible page at /{username} that displays analytics about a User who has enabled the shareable link feature.
  • "Campaign Page" means a publicly accessible page at /campaign/{slug} that aggregates Instagram Data from one or more Users assigned to a campaign.
  • "Administrator" means a User with the admin role who has elevated permissions to manage other Users and campaigns.
  • "Influencer", "Brand", and "Agency" mean the corresponding non-admin role assigned to a User Account.

3. Eligibility

To use the Service you must:

  • be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher;
  • have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract;
  • provide a valid email address that you control;
  • have authority to bind any organisation on whose behalf you use the Service;
  • own or otherwise be authorised to connect the Instagram account you link to the Service; and
  • comply at all times with Instagram's Terms of Use, the Meta Platform Terms, and any other applicable Meta or Instagram policies.

The Service requires an Instagram Professional account (Business or Creator). Personal Instagram accounts are not supported. You are responsible for maintaining your account's Professional status throughout your use of the Service; loss of Professional status will disable analytics features that depend on Meta's insights APIs.

We may refuse, suspend, or terminate access where we reasonably believe an eligibility requirement is not met.

4. Account Registration and Security

You can create an Account using an email address and a password. You agree to:

  • provide accurate, current, and complete information at registration and keep it up to date;
  • choose a strong password and keep your credentials confidential;
  • not share your credentials, allow another person to use your Account, or use another User's credentials;
  • notify us promptly at dev@00nation.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your Account or any other security incident affecting your use of the Service.

You are responsible for all activity carried out under your Account, except activity resulting from our breach of these Terms or our security obligations. We may suspend or terminate Accounts where we reasonably suspect breach of these Terms, security risk, or unlawful conduct.

5. Instagram Connection and Permissions

To use the analytics features of the Service, you must connect an Instagram Professional account via Meta's official Instagram OAuth flow. By connecting, you authorise the Service to access your Instagram account through Meta's APIs using the following permission scopes (or their successors as Meta updates the platform):

  • instagram_business_basic
  • instagram_business_manage_insights

You warrant that you own or are duly authorised to connect the Instagram account you link, and that connecting it to the Service does not violate any agreement with Meta or any third party.

A given Instagram account may be linked to only one 00Connect Account at a time. If an Instagram account is already linked to another Account, the connection will be refused until the prior link is removed.

Instagram access tokens issued to the Service are typically long-lived tokens that expire after a period set by Meta (approximately 60 days at the date of these Terms) and are refreshed periodically. Access tokens are stored in encrypted form in our database. We may need to ask you to re-authenticate from time to time, in particular if Meta invalidates a token, permissions change, or the connection lapses.

You are responsible for maintaining the connected Instagram account in good standing, including keeping it a Professional account and not violating Meta's policies.

6. License and Intellectual Property

6.1 Our intellectual property

The Service, including all software, source code, designs, user interfaces, branding, logos, documentation, and underlying technology, is owned by the Operator or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights in the Service are transferred to you.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for its intended purpose during the term of your Account.

6.2 Your content and Instagram Data

You retain all rights you have in your Instagram Data and any other Content you make available through the Service. These Terms do not transfer ownership of your Content to us.

You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to access, host, store, process, transmit, cache, mirror, format, display, and otherwise use your Instagram Data and any Content you submit, solely to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service for you, including to:

  • retrieve, snapshot, and store Instagram Data through Meta's APIs;
  • mirror selected media or thumbnails on our third-party content delivery network (Bytescale) for display in dashboards;
  • display analytics, content, and metadata in your private dashboard and in any Public Profile or Campaign Page that you, or an Administrator acting in respect of your Account, have enabled;
  • aggregate, anonymise, or de-identify data for internal analytics about Service performance and usage (such derived data does not personally identify you).

We do not sell your Instagram Data or other personal data, and we do not use it to serve advertising or to train artificial intelligence models.

6.3 Feedback

If you submit suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use them without restriction or compensation.

7. Public Sharing and Campaigns

The Service includes features that make certain analytics and Content publicly accessible:

  • Public Profile at /{username} may be enabled to share a creator's analytics with brands, agencies, or other third parties via a shareable link.
  • Campaign Pages at /campaign/{slug} aggregate Instagram Data from one or more Users assigned to a campaign and are intended to be shared with clients and brand partners.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • pages at these URLs are accessible without logging in by anyone who has the URL;
  • once a URL is shared, we cannot control onward distribution, indexing, caching, screenshots, or copying by recipients;
  • you are responsible for deciding whether to enable a Public Profile and for the consequences of sharing the link;
  • where you are assigned to a campaign by an Administrator, your assigned posts, stories, and the associated metrics may appear on the corresponding Campaign Page;
  • we make no representation or warranty that public URLs will remain private, hidden, or unindexed by search engines;
  • you should not enable public sharing of Instagram Data that you do not have the right to share publicly, or that contradicts your obligations to third parties (for example, a brand under embargo, or a private collaboration).

Administrators are responsible for configuring campaigns lawfully, including obtaining any consent from assigned Users that may be required under their own arrangements with those Users.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to, and not to permit any third party to:

  • use the Service in violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right;
  • violate Instagram's Terms of Use, the Meta Platform Terms, or any other Meta or Instagram policy;
  • copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, sublicence, or create derivative works of the Service, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or by law;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction;
  • attempt to circumvent rate limits, authentication, access controls, or API restrictions imposed by us or by Meta;
  • misrepresent metrics, manipulate analytics, inflate engagement, or present Service output in a misleading way to clients or third parties;
  • impersonate any person or entity, or falsely claim affiliation with any creator, brand, or organisation;
  • upload, transmit, or distribute malware, viruses, or any other harmful code;
  • scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Service or from Instagram other than through the authorised APIs and features provided;
  • harass, threaten, defame, or abuse any other User or third party through the Service;
  • share Administrator credentials, or use Administrator powers other than as authorised by your role within your organisation;
  • use the Service to send spam, unsolicited communications, or other prohibited content; or
  • interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the Service or its infrastructure.

We may investigate suspected breaches and take any action we consider appropriate, including suspending or terminating Accounts, removing Content, restricting features, and reporting unlawful activity to authorities.

9. Administrator and Agency Use

Some Users hold the admin role and have elevated permissions, including the ability to:

  • create, configure, and manage campaigns;
  • assign Users (influencers) to campaigns and assign their Instagram posts or stories to those campaigns;
  • view influencer settings and connection status;
  • trigger manual data sync on behalf of an influencer; and
  • delete a User's stored Instagram Data on their behalf.

Where an Administrator acts on behalf of an organisation (for example, an agency or brand), both the Administrator and the organisation are responsible for their use of the Service, and remain bound by these Terms.

Influencers connecting their Instagram accounts through an arrangement with an agency or brand acknowledge that Administrators within the relevant Operator-side Account may view, manage, and act on their connected data as described above. We are not a party to, and take no responsibility for, the underlying commercial relationship between Administrators and the Users they manage. Allegations of unauthorised administrative action should be raised first with the relevant agency or brand; we may take steps within the Service in response to credible reports.

10. Service Availability and Changes

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or timely availability.

The Service depends on Meta's APIs and on third-party infrastructure (including hosting, database, and content delivery providers). Outages, rate limits, deprecations, or changes to Meta's APIs may affect the Service, and we are not responsible for resulting unavailability or data limitations.

We may, at any time and without liability:

  • modify, add, or remove features;
  • perform scheduled or emergency maintenance, including pausing scheduled jobs such as the daily snapshot (currently scheduled at approximately 03:00 UTC) or media mirroring (currently scheduled approximately every five minutes);
  • limit usage to protect the Service or comply with third-party API requirements; or
  • discontinue the Service in whole or in part on reasonable notice.

The Service is currently offered without charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid tiers, usage limits, or subscription features in future; any such changes will be notified before they apply to you, and you will have an opportunity to decline by ceasing use of the relevant features.

11. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and quiet enjoyment.

In particular, we do not warrant that:

  • the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free;
  • Instagram Data displayed in the Service is accurate, complete, real-time, or free from delay;
  • engagement, reach, impressions, audience demographics, or other metrics reflect the official figures reported by Meta or Instagram; metrics are derived from API fields that may change, be rate-limited, be sampled, or be unavailable;
  • public-facing analytics constitute an official Instagram or Meta report;
  • the Service will meet your business or campaign-reporting requirements.

Analytics provided by the Service are informational only and should not be relied on as the sole basis for material business, financial, or commercial decisions. The Service does not provide financial, legal, tax, or other professional advice.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will the Operator, its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, or licensors be liable for:

  • any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages;
  • any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, anticipated savings, or data;
  • any damages arising from third-party services or content, including Meta, Instagram, hosting providers, and the Bytescale CDN; or
  • any damages arising from your reliance on metrics or analytics displayed by the Service.

Our aggregate liability to you in respect of all claims arising out of or relating to the Service and these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the total fees you have paid to us for the Service in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) £100 (or, where applicable, US $100). As the Service is currently offered without charge, this will typically operate as a cap of £100/US $100.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including (where applicable) liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that may not by law be limited or excluded.

13. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Operator and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

  • your Content, Instagram Data, or any decision to share it on a Public Profile or Campaign Page;
  • your use or misuse of the Service;
  • your breach of these Terms or any applicable law;
  • your breach of any agreement with Meta, Instagram, a creator, a brand, or any other third party; or
  • the conduct of any Administrator or organisation you are responsible for in their use of the Service.

We may, at our option, assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you. You agree to cooperate with our defence of such claims.

14. Third-Party Services

The Service interoperates with and depends on third-party services for hosting, infrastructure, storage, email delivery, and operational support.

Your use of Instagram remains subject to Instagram's Terms of Use and Platform Policy as published by Meta from time to time. Your use of third-party services through the Service may be subject to those providers' own terms; we are not responsible for third-party services and do not endorse them.

15. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data in connection with the Service is described in our Privacy Policy, available on our website at https://zerozeroconnect.com/privacy and linked on the login screen. The Privacy Policy explains, among other things, what data we collect, how we use it, the legal bases on which we process it (where applicable), how we share it, how long we retain it, and what rights you have. Privacy questions can be sent to dev@00nation.com

These Terms do not duplicate the Privacy Policy; in the event of any conflict in respect of privacy matters, the Privacy Policy prevails.

16. Data Retention and Deletion

You can, at any time from the /settings page:

  • Disconnect Instagram, which revokes the connection between your 00Connect Account and your Instagram account and clears your current analytics snapshot; or
  • Delete all stored Instagram Data, which irreversibly deletes the snapshots, posts, stories, insights, and related metadata held by the Service for your Account.

You can also remove the Service from your Instagram account at Instagram → Settings → Apps and Websites, which will trigger Meta's deauthorisation webhook to the Service.

The Service implements Meta's deauthorize and data deletion webhooks. When triggered, we delete or anonymise the affected Instagram Data within a reasonable period. The https://zerozeroconnect.com/data-deletion  page on our website describes the process and, where relevant, allows you to confirm a deletion code provided by Meta.

We may retain limited records for legitimate purposes such as security, fraud prevention, audit, legal compliance, and operational backups, in line with the retention practices described in the Privacy Policy. Backups containing data scheduled for deletion are purged on a rolling basis.

17. Termination

You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by signing out, disconnecting Instagram, deleting your stored Instagram Data, or requesting Account closure at dev@00nation.com

We may suspend or terminate your Account, or all or part of your access to the Service, at any time if:

  • you breach these Terms;
  • we reasonably believe your use poses a security, legal, or operational risk to us, to other Users, or to third parties;
  • continued provision of the Service to you is no longer commercially or legally viable; or
  • required by law, regulation, or instruction from a competent authority.

On termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we may delete your Account and associated data, subject to limited retention as set out in Section 16. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law) will survive.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is identified by the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Where changes are material, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you, for example by email to the address on your Account or by an in-app notice prior to the changes taking effect.

Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms come into effect constitutes acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and may close your Account.

19. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim, except that we may bring proceedings in any jurisdiction where you reside or have assets, to the extent necessary to protect our intellectual property or enforce these Terms.

Nothing in this Section affects any mandatory rights you may have as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence.

20. General

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any supplemental terms referenced here, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements on the same subject matter.
  • Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
  • No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
  • Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, sale of assets, or by operation of law.
  • No agency. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, agency, or employment relationship between you and us.
  • Force majeure. We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, labour disputes, internet or telecommunications failures, or failures of third-party services including Meta APIs.
  • Notices. We may give notice to you by email to the address associated with your Account or by posting on the Service. You may give notice to us at dev@00nation.com.
  • Language. These Terms are drafted in English. Any translation is provided for convenience only; the English version prevails in case of conflict.
